The Past

We all have made mistakes in our past, and those mistakes can weigh us down with despair and regrets, robbing our lives of Joy and Hope. But Christ’s death on the cross removed the guilt and shame. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. He gave us the power to restore our broken lives and leave the past on the cross.

The Present

Life is a challenge. Loss, failure, setbacks, health, finances, and family challenges are things we all experience and it can be overwhelming. And many times you feel no one understands and you have to face these things alone. But you are not alone. Christ not only forgives us our past but empowers us to live victoriously in the present. “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”

The Future

Death is a fact of life. Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— ¹⁵and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. Christ’s death and resurrection broke the power and fear of death. He promises us forgiveness, power in our daily lives, and home in heaven with Him forever.
