What does resurrection mean? It means coming back to life after death or rising from the dead or being alive again. Power means a force to change the unchangeable.
Christ’s death and resurrection validate Jesus’ claim that He is the Son of God.
Jesus said in John 11:25 that “I AM the resurrection and the life, thought you were dead, yet shall you live. Before He was arrested, tried, and sentenced to death, he told everybody that He was the resurrection and life. He believed what God told Him, Who He is. I am sure He told Himself that repeatedly to build up His faith until He had the faith to believe it for Himself and announce it to the public. Here is how I think of it – Jesus telling Himself I AM resurrection and life. He practiced a faith that comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That is why when He came to Lazarus grave, He knew Who He was, the resurrection and life. Keep in mind that Jesus was human just like you and me. Yes, He was God, but He stripped Himself of that and became man, born of a woman.
John 19:30 tells us that before Jesus died, He said it is finished. He meant that your sins and their consequences were paid for in full. The title deed of your freedom has been paid in full. The title deed is proof of ownership.
The word of God is your title deed to your freedom. Read it, meditate on it. Speak it to yourself so you can have faith that comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.
Jesus paid full price for your past, present, and future sins. Your receipt is the word of God as proof that you are debt-free from the attack of the devil about your past.
