Joel 2:25-26. – 25 “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame!
Locusts are destructive animals that can be likened to the devil who is a destroyer.
But Jesus is the restorer of all things.

When Jesus met a prostitute, He didn’t condemn her but saw someone that God can restore, make whole, and be useful in her community.
If you want to know God study the life of Jesus. He came to show us Who God is. When Jesus came to earth, He went about doing good to all men. He was restoring lives from sin to righteousness, sickness to health, death to life. Jesus brought The Kingdom of God in heaven to earth. That is why He said the Kingdom of God is at hand. The Kingdom of God is in you.

The very first thing is to clean you of your shame and guilt. There are things you have done in the past that you are ashamed of, that have brought quilt on you. And shame and guilt bring condemnation. Condemnation leads to depression and anxiety that makes most people not sleep at night nor function properly. How many people can identify with that?
The second thing that God does when you are born again or become a Christian is to restore peace and joy to you that passes human understanding. You were made to be peaceful and joyful.

Let’s examine the bible:
When He met a prostitute, He saw someone that God can restore and make whole.
When Jesus saw Peter, He saw someone that God can use, He said to him you are Simon, but you shall be called Peter, the rock.
When God met Abram, He saw a father of many nations, He said to him you are Abram, but you shall be called Abraham.
When God saw Jacob, He saw a whole nation, He said you are Jacob, but you shall be called Israel.
When Christ met the woman caught in adultery, He saw a woman that God can restore and be useful to society for His glory.
When Jesus met a woman that lost all her wealth because of illness, He saw a woman that God can restore and become useful to her family and community.
We at All Nations Family Church see people as God sees them. We see people that God can restore. We don’t see people as they are in the world, we see them of what they can be in Christ and in the house of God.

Before you had your life messed up with sin and its consequences that allowed the devil to mess you up, God predetermined your restoration.
Your restoration begins when you repent of your sins, ask for forgiveness from God in the name of Jesus, God will begin His restoration in you.
What to Pray to receive salvation:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
